To have a pot of gold to dip into

Bring out a few coins — and change a life.

I feel like God every day.

The perch of enough from which to give

Affords empathy of an easy kind.

Maybe privilege wearing nice clothes?

Maybe there’s comfort in the distance the perch affords?

Maybe anxiety around the loss of easy power -

That comes from a shorter one?

Is the giving itself a perk of climbing atop?

And the perch the very cause for the need for it?
